Whiteout fanzine

El sitio estadounidense @society6 publicó su primer fanzine titulado Whiteout, bajo la comanda de producir gráficos a una sola tinta (negro). En el cual seleccionaron mi trabajo kata (Palabra que describe los patrones detallados en los movimientos de combate en coreografía, es una prática sin oponentes, se hace sólo o con oponentes imaginarios)

Esta es la primera edición de una serie de fanzines con distintos temas, ya esta en puerta la producción del segundo Us and them

The site @Society6 from Unidet States publish his first fanzine called Whiteout, produce in a single color (black). My work kata was selected (Word describing detailed choreographed patterns of movements, practised either solo or imaginary opponents)

This is the first in a series of fanzines with different themes

El pasado del 29 de noviembre se llevo a cabo la inauguración de la exposición NoSombrero en la galeria The Poetry Club Artspace, 317 Putman Ave, Brooklyn Nueva York en la que participo con la pieza Ultimadamente 2 x No sombrero (pronto subire fotos de ella), estará abierta al público hasta el 10 de diciembre del 2011

Invitación para la exposición No Sombrero que reúne varios artistas y diseñadores de México, se llevará a cabo del 29 de noviembre al 10 de diciembre del 2011 en la galeria The Poetry Club Artspace, 317 Putman Ave, Brooklyn Nueva York

"El discurso de esta exposición está basado en la idea de que, si bien tenemos que aprender a explorar nuestras raíces culturales para adquirir una identidad como país, también es necesario innovar y tener una visión más contemporánea para ofrecer una propuesta actualizada"

Me encuentro entre la lista de expositores, me da mucho gusto compartir un espacio de exposición con gente a la que admiro tremendamente su trabajo

Pocológico exposición

En la hermosa hermana Republica Dominicana diseñadores y artistas juntan fuerzas para generar un estudio creativo, celebrando este gran logro comienzan con la exposición titulada Pocológico, para mi fortuna me invitaron a sumarme a lista de expositores
La exposición busca diferentes puntos de vista gráficos, expositores de México, Taiwán, Puerto Rico, Venezuela y Estados Unidos, la variedad conectada por un sentido entre todos creando un lenguaje común

14 Artistas visuales: Eduardo Brador (RD), Paolung Lee (Tw), Karina Nova (RD), María Luisa Rodríguez (Mx), Koco Toribio (RD), Monica Lapaz (RD), Ricardo Vázquez (Mx), Alma Peguero (RD), Carlito García (RD), Isabel Benedetti (Vzla), Arlette Espaillat (RD), Ricky Gluski (EU) y Edwin Torres (Pr)

La pocológica es: expresión, búsqueda , interrogantes, razonamiento, informalidad, visión, lógica sin sentido común.

Fresh Cutting Edge

FRESH Cutting Edge fue creado por los diseñadores de Slanted magazine y la agencia alemana MAGMA Brand Design. Es una compilación que reúne una colección internacional de ilustradores con estilos actuales aplicados a medios de comunicación. Se presenta en una serie de tres volúmenes: object, public and print. Desde ilustraciones de autor a las comerciales, de la moda al street art, de lo plano a la tercera dimensión, la serie incluye más de 1.400 obras, las cuales fueron seleccionadas por un jurado de ilustradores profesionales: John King, Michael Luz, Maurer Mone, Ruddigkeit Raban y André Rösler.

Mis ilustraciones fueron publicadas en el tercer volumen Fresh Print, donde se presentan artistas como Satiago Solís (México), Marie Luise Emmermann (Alemania), Ruben Irland (Reino Unido), Heiko Windisch (Alemania), Valistika Studio (España) y Les Jeanclode (Francia)

FRESH Cuting Edge was created by the designers of the Slanted magazine and blogs, the German Agency MAGMA Brand Design, is a compilation of this exciting and unlimited movement, and puts together an international collection of various illustrators, current styles and media. It is presented in a series of three volumes: Object, public and print. From personal to commercial illustrations, from fashion to street art, by two-to three-dimensional approaches - the FRESH series includes more than 1,400 works. The selection of the presented works in FRESH was hit by a jury of professional illustrators (John King, Michael Luz, Mone Maurer, Raban Ruddigkeit and André Rösler).

Francisco J. Paparella director, guionista y productor contemporáneo de cine y tv. Entre los filmes en los que ha participado está finde la cual es "una película sobre la falsa intimidad de una pareja joven retratada desde el punto de vista de ella, en un tono contemplativo que intenta redimirlos"

Se me comisionó la imagen personal para Francisco en su siguiente proyecto como director y guionista: Sudestern

Francisco es un excelente amigo además de ser una persona muy ambiciosa, su trabajo lo demuestra. Gracias por la confianza y la buena charla, esperamos ver pronto adelantos del filme, en su momento lo postearemos en el blog
